| Many exciting things around Petersburg make for great photography. See bears walking the beaches in the spring, or chasing salmon in the creeks during the summer and fall. See the majestic bald eagle perched in a tree or swooping down to catch a fish. Also see humpack whales, orca (a.k.a. killer whales), sea lions, and fur seals. Maybe spot a blacktail dear or a timber wolf. You might even view an otter playing in a kelp patch or a playful porpoise darting under and near the boat. There are many other animals to enjoy along with numerous species of sea birds. We also see Alaska's State Ferry's on a regular basis as they transport locals and tourists all around Southeast Alaska. | ||||||||
